Local Artwork Donations Recognized by TMH Foundation

8/6/2020

The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation gratefully recognizes the five artists whose submissions were chosen for display in the new Taylorville Memorial Hospital facility.

Twelve landscape and nature-based pieces were selected and each has a plaque dedicated to the artist. The local artists are Dr. John Ferry, Susan Ferry, Dani Jo Knecht, Gary Sedlock and Marvin Thomas. Their artwork is displayed at the South Entrance, Outpatient Care Center, Cardiac Rehabilitation Classroom, Acute Care and Senior Life Solutions.

“We are so grateful for the contributions these talented artists have made to the new facility,” said TMH foundation executive director Raedena Ryan. “Their donated pieces have added to our calm and healing environment and help drive home the fact TMH is here to care for our local community.”

The artists and their donated pieces will be recognized by the Foundation and featured in the 2020 TMH Foundation community update in Spring 2021.
