Memorial Physician Services - Jacksonville West has opened a clinic for child and adult patients who are experiencing symptoms of respiratory illness.

The clinic will provide screening and evaluation and offer a local option for further care for patients experiencing respiratory symptoms, while ensuring the safety of other patients and visitors at the Memorial Physician Services - Jacksonville location. Patients must schedule an appointment.

Established patients of Memorial Physician Services - Jacksonville West, located on the east side of the Passavant Area Hospital campus, may schedule an appointment by calling 217-243-0300. 

The creation of a separate sick clinic serves two purposes during the COVID-19 pandemic: Centralizing respiratory care helps limit other patients’ exposure to respiratory illness and helps preserve and concentrate resources, such as personal protective equipment and clinical staff.
