Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation Opens Community Health Grant Program

7/20/2021

TAYLORVILLE – The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation has launched a board-directed grant program to assist with funding health-related projects in Christian County.
“With the introduction of our Community Health Grant program, the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation is demonstrating its commitment to our hospital’s mission and our board’s vision to expand our good work beyond the hospital walls,” said Raedena Ryan, executive director of the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation.
The foundation will award grants to local nonprofit 501 (c)(3), education or government organizations to support community health activities. The grants committee on the foundation’s board of directors will review and choose grant recipients who meet qualifications.
“Engaging like-minded organizations in our community to collaborate and help serve our mission is an opportunity to expand our footprint and improve the lives of our neighbors,” said Ryan. “This exciting development in local philanthropy is possible through a strong legacy of board governance and generous donors.”
Applications will be accepted on a rolling basis. A completed application and a detailed budget must be submitted for review and recommendation to the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation Board Grants Committee for funding approval.
