Tara Graham of Stonington, a secretary in the physical therapy department at Taylorville Memorial Hospital (TMH), is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for August.

Graham is the face of her department and develops relationships with the patients she sees frequently, hospital officials said. She is known for her ability to maintain a positive and helpful attitude while she multi-tasks in her demanding, busy role, they said.

“One of the most rewarding parts of my job is knowing that I may have made somebody’s day better just by being helpful or polite,” said Graham.

Graham has worked at TMH for 22 years. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband of 27 years and their four children and eight grandchildren.
