TAYLORVILLE – The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will present its 12th annual 5K Fun Run/Walk Turkey Trot on Saturday, Nov. 27.

The event kicks off from North Pawnee Street, near Taylorville Memorial Hospital at 8:30 a.m. Nov. 27, rain or shine. In-person registration opens at 8 a.m. A children’s dash is planned at 9:30 a.m. but may be canceled if weather conditions are not favorable.

Cost is $20 for participants ages 14 and older who preregister ($25 on the day of the event) and $10 for participants 13 and younger. Cost is $15 for Memorial Health employees who preregister.

On the day of the event, free parking is available on the Taylorville Memorial Hospital campus and along North Pawnee Street.

Proceeds benefit the nonprofit hospital’s auxiliary in its mission to support the hospital by funding equipment, programs and services to enhance and expand health care in Christian County.
