Kimberly Heise, a clinic assistant in the physical therapy department at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital, is the nonprofit hospital’s Colleague of the Month for February.

Heise, of South Jacksonville, has worked at Jacksonville Memorial Hospital for 33 years. She is known for the joyful way in which she goes about her work, greeting patients, meeting their needs and accommodating her co-workers’ schedules and requests, hospital officials said.

“Kim is a beacon for great patient experiences in our department,” said Jennifer Hodgerson, Jacksonville Memorial’s supervisor of outpatient physical therapy, who nominated Heise.

Outside of work, Heise enjoys sewing, knitting and traveling to visit her three grown children and their families.
