Carnes received several nominations from patients and parents of patients for her patience, gentle demeanor and helpful attitude. She especially enjoys taking care of pediatric patients and eliciting smiles from the younger ones.

Her colleagues also appreciate her leadership skills and her attention to quality care, safety practices and the latest updates to evidence-based care.

Carnes has worked at Memorial Health since 2019. She stays busy with her husband and their two boys and enjoys spending time with friends and family grilling out by the pool.
