Raedena Ryan has been named the new executive director of the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation.
Ryan is a native of Huxley, a rural community in central Iowa, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in marketing from Iowa State University’s college of business. In 2006, she began her professional career in Christian County with the First National Bank of Pana, where she started as the bank’s marketing officer and most recently served as vice president in lending with its affiliate bank, First National Bank of Spresser.
"We are delighted to welcome Raedena,” said Eric Kahle, board chairman of the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation. “She brings with her a strong sense of community, and with her business experience and passion, she will be a great asset to our organization.”
Ryan has been active in the community. She serves as treasurer of the University of Illinois Education Association, secretary of the Christian County Ag Group and caring leader with United Way of Christian County. She has served as a board member on the University of Illinois Extension Council and Pana Chamber of Commerce and is a graduate of the Taylorville Chamber of Commerce LEAD Program.
“I am very excited to continue to make a positive impact in Christian County,” Ryan said. “The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation has touched many lives in our community. I feel privileged to be part of their vision.”
Ryan lives in Taylorville with her husband, Keith, a local grain farmer, and their two daughters.
The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit, incorporated as a 501(c)3 and organized in February 1995.
In addition to Kahle serving as chairman, other board officers are Shelly Cappellin, vice chair; Gloria Brummer, secretary; and Scott McClure, treasurer. The remaining members are Bob Appleton, Mike Blakeman, Penny Bliler, Kim Bourne, Bill Cope, Gregg Fuerstenau, Jerry Gardner, Roger Hickman, Dave Hixenbaugh, DJ Kennedy, Meg Kettelkamp, Joyce Langen Sr., Angela Laquet, Mary McNeely, Kent Richardson, Rich Shaw and Judy Swigert.
