Abraham Lincoln Memorial Hospital has announced Sasha Bruns of Lincoln as the July Employee of the Month. Bruns has worked at ALMH for three years. She is currently a Medical Records Associate in the Medical Records Department.

As a Medical Records Associate, Bruns ensures medical records are properly authorized and medical information is released to physicians and healthcare providers as needed. She also occasionally fills in at her previous position of Unit Secretary in the Acute Care Department. It was her work in that position that prompted a nomination from a co-worker

“Sasha is always so pleasant when she answers the phone. She has a soft, gentle, kind voice. She promptly answers call lights and she creates great care for patients because of her accurate review of medical charts,” said her nominator.

Bruns enjoys her work at ALMH for several reasons.

“I am proud to work at ALMH because I enjoy helping the patients and their families. I love my co-workers. We all work together to ensure the patients are well taken care of,” said Brun
