The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation welcomed three new board members and elected new officers at a recent meeting of its board of directors.
Board members also recognized the contributions of three retiring board members – Roger Hickman, Meg Kettelkamp and D.J. Kennedy – with a combined 18 years of leadership and dedication to the nonprofit hospital’s foundation.
“We’re grateful for the dedicated service each of these board members has provided to improving the health of the people and communities we serve,” said Raedena Ryan, executive director of the foundation. That service included being part of the Bringing the Best to You Capital Campaign, which raised more than $1.3 million to improve the hospital’s facilities with the addition of the Outpatient Services Center.
The new board members are Nancy Handegan, Melisa Livingston and Billy Williams.
Nancy Handegan is from Taylorville. She is an attorney with offices in Decatur, where she works in the areas of estate planning, business representation and real estate. She and her husband, Jon, have three sons: Grant, Nick and Jack.
