Passavant Area Hospital’s Employee of the Month is Hope Henline, Rehabilitation Services. Hope is a Rehabilitation Services secretary and has been employed at Passavant eight and one-half years.
Hope’s responsibilities include scheduling recurring patient appointments for therapy, checking in and completing paperwork for new patients, answering the phone, and registering patients for OCI physicians.
Her nomination from an appreciative co-worker read, “Hope has been fulfilling her normal job duties along with filling in the gap while another employee was out on maternity leave. Even though she has more than her fair share of work, she is always polite and smiling with patients. Patients have commented that it is nice to be greeted at the door, by name, by Hope. She is creating great patient experiences and great work experiences. She performs any task asked of her without complaining. She is a blessing to our department, and we are grateful to have her.”
Hope and her husband, Rusty, are the parents of two children. The family resides in Roodhouse.
The Employee of the Month at Passavant receives eight hours off with pay, an Employee of the Month plaque, a close parking space for one month, gift cards for the Cafeteria and Gift Shop, a movie gift card, pen and pencil set, picnic blanket, flashlight/tool kit, Mason jar cup, umbrella, small cooler, lunch sack, drawstring tote, water bottle, notepad, flashlight key ring, coffee mug, and cup.
