Gov. Bruce Rauner will hold a news conference at the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation to discuss the state's filing of a Medicaid waiver with the federal government.

The news conference will begin at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 13. The center is on the campus of Memorial Medical Center.

The 72,000-square-foot center is a technologically advanced learning environment where Memorial employees, medical residents and the nonprofit hospital’s physician and community-health partners develop and strengthen their clinical skills and knowledge.
