Todd Roberts has been promoted to the position of vice president of quality and safety and chief quality officer for Memorial Health System.
Roberts began his career at Memorial as system director of operations improvement in April 2010. He advanced to administrator of quality and safety in 2014. His new role began Oct. 1.
Roberts earned his master of business administration degree from Bellevue University in Bellevue, Nebraska, and his bachelor's degree in natural sciences from Midland Lutheran College in Fremont, Nebraska.
"Todd has been central to the design, launch and expansion of Memorial’s Lean Six Sigma program over the past six years, and in so doing has positively impacted nearly every aspect of our health system through 300-plus projects yielding an average 41 percent per-project improvement," said Charles Callahan, executive vice president and chief operating officer for Memorial Health System.
"His leadership and collaboration skills are reflected in four Illinois Hospital Association Quality Achievement Awards earned since 2013 and in this year’s American Hospital Association-McKesson Quest for Quality Prize," Callahan said.
Roberts was recently appointed by Gov. Bruce Rauner to the 2021 State Health Improvement Plan Implementation Council. In his new position, Roberts will play an expanded role in the Midwest Healthcare Quality Alliance and the Quality Alliance Patient Safety Organization.
