12/21/2017

The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation has graciously accepted a $10,000 grant from the Bertrand Hopper Memorial Foundation in support of its newly developed Healthcare Careers Scholarship program.  The Healthcare Careers Scholarship program will aid students who are interested in studying healthcare and will work at TMH upon degree completion.

“This scholarship is intended to create a talent pipeline,” said TMH Foundation Scholarship Committee chair Billy Williams.  “We want to help students receive the education they need with a commitment to return to Christian County after they have finished their schooling.”

Like many organizations in the Taylorville community, the Bertrand Hopper Memorial Foundation has consistently supported the hospital over the years.  “It is because of their continued generosity that the TMH Foundation is able to enhance our work,” said TMH Foundation executive director Raedena Ryan.  “Through donations like these, we are able to help students in our community achieve their educational goals and aide in the workforce development of TMH.”

If you would like to support the Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation, tax deductible contributions can be made payable to Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation and mailed to 201 East Pleasant Street, Taylorville, IL 62568 or online at taylorvillememorial.org/foundation.

The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation is a nonprofit, incorporated as a 501(c)3. Organized in 1995, the TMH Foundation supports the Taylorville Memorial Hospital’s mission to improve the health of the people and communities it serves.
