The Passavant Area Hospital Women’s Health Center will host a public open house Thursday, Feb. 1, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. The Women’s Health Center is located at 610 N. Westgate, on the northwest corner of the Passavant campus.

The Women’s Health Center opened Jan. 2 and allows women in the Jacksonville area greater access to obstetric and gynecologic care, including care related to high-risk pregnancies.

The Center is staffed by three physicians, Alexander Hrynewych, MD; Jeffrey Olejnik, MD; and Alexander Raw, MD; and one family nurse practitioner, Caitlen Wiese, APN. Raw and Wiese are new additions to the Women’s Health Center team.

Robert Abrams, MD, associate professor and division chief for maternal-fetal medicine at the Southern Illinois University School of Medicine, sees patients with high-risk pregnancies at the Women’s Health Center.
