Janelle Cornell from Taylorville Memorial Hospital is teaming up with Lisa Peterson of the U of I Extension Office to offer a free class on roasting vegetables.  The program will be held on March 8 at 6:30 p.m. at the University of Illinois Extension Office at 1120 N. Webster Street in Taylorville. 

“This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in learning more about how to roast vegetables,” said TMH Dietitian Janelle Cornell.  “We always encourage eating more vegetables for better health.  Participants will be able to practice what they learn and taste the vegetables they roast.  This is a simple and delicious way to get everyone to eat a better variety.”

Registration is not required and the class will last about 1.5 hours.
