Taylorville Memorial Hospital to Hold Free Forum on Sleep Apnea

A free community event on sleep apnea will be held at Taylorville Memorial Hospital at noon Wednesday, Nov. 6.

A panel of three local experts will lead a discussion about sleep apnea, one of the most common and problematic sleep disorders today. Participants will learn about the symptoms, causes and possible treatment options.

Panel members are Dr. Pavi Gill, who is board certified in sleep medicine and is with Springfield Clinic; Janece Landis, a registered sleep technician with Taylorville Memorial Hospital; and John Shoup, a registered respiratory therapist with Memorial Home Services.

A light lunch will be provided. Reservations are not required but are recommended by Friday, Nov. 1. To make a reservation, call (217) 788-3333.
