The Taylorville Memorial Hospital Foundation has published its 2017 Community Update celebrating its partnerships, great work and efforts that were made last year to further the hospital’s mission to improve the health of the community and people it serves.
In 2017, the TMH Foundation was able to award scholarships, provide funds for programs like the Pediatric Dental Program and the TMH Emergency Department’s “Comfort Closet” while also helping TMH employees pursue professional certifications through financial support, to name a few. The TMH Auxiliary, the Foundation’s largest donor to date, also held many fundraising events throughout the year as well as providing scholarships to TMH employees and sponsoring the TMH Babysitting Clinic.
“We are committed to preserving the mission while also serving our community health needs beyond the walls of the hospital,” said TMH Foundation executive director Raedena Ryan. “This community update is not only a way to recognize what the Foundation has done in the past year, but to offer sincere recognition to all of our donors, without whom, none of this would be possible.”
Copies of the community update were mailed to the residents of Edinburg, Kincaid, Morrisonville, Nokomis, Owaneco, Palmer, Stonington and Taylorville. You can also find an online copy at TaylorvilleMemorial.org/Foundation.
