Limited designer opportunities remain available for Memorial’s 29th annual Festival of Trees, “Holidays Through Our History,” which will be held Nov. 17-25 at the Orr Building on the Illinois State Fairgrounds. 

Designers are needed to decorate 7-foot trees and wreaths. Designers receive complimentary tickets to the Festival of Trees and the gala as well as recognition in promotional materials. The designer contract is available online and due by Sept. 1.

“The artistic talent of people in our community is amazing,” said Amanda Johnson, event manager of the festival. “We’re looking forward to see how our designers will delight our visitors with designs that help celebrate our state’s bicentennial.”

During the past 28 years, the Festival of Trees has raised more than $4.9 million for health-related projects, programs and research within Memorial Health System and the communities it serves.
