Joseph Kicielinski of Springfield, an outpatient radiologic technologist, was named Memorial Medical Center's 2018 Employee of the Year.

Kicielinski began his career with Memorial Medical Center in September 2013. He is a full-time employee in the nonprofit hospital’s radiology outpatient department. He graduated with an associate degree from Southwestern College.

“I enjoy working with patients and staff in a variety of areas and the different challenges each area provides,” Kicielinski said. “I get to meet interesting people and help them have a great experience while they are receiving services.”

The Employee of the Year is selected from 11 individuals named Employee of the Month from January through November of each year. Kicielinski was July's Employee of the Month.

His interests include watching sports, playing softball, running, kayaking and spending time with family and friends.
