Memorial Medical Center will offer the American Lung Association’s Freedom from Smoking class beginning at 5 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 29.

The class is free and will meet for seven weeks from 5 to 6:30 p.m. on Tuesdays in Memorial Medical Center, 701 N. First St., Springfield.

Class space is limited to 15 participants. For more information or to reserve a spot in the class, call 217-757-4211 by Jan. 8. The next class will be offered in April.

The classes are free because a grant from the Memorial Medical Center Foundation covered the costs.
