Memorial Medical Center will hold a free meeting featuring two inspirational speakers who are cancer survivors at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 15, in the Memorial Center for Learning and Innovation, 228 W. Miller St.
The two-hour event, titled “Finding Common Ground,” will be held in the H.D. Smith Tiered Classroom on the second floor of the MCLI. It is open to cancer survivors and their family members and friends.
The guest speakers are Heather Carter of Springfield, a local Realtor and blogger at HeatherCarterWrites.com, who recently authored her first book, “Soul-Selfie,” and David Hull of Mason City, vice president of sales for Onken Inc. in Easton.
Free parking is available in the parking garage south of the MCLI at Rutledge and Carpenter streets. A light breakfast with coffee and tea will be served.
