When it comes to teamwork, Scott Marshall, a physical therapist with the Rehab Clinic-Jacksonville, is a leader. Whether he is adjusting his schedule to accommodate a patient or sharing time and knowledge with a younger colleague, Marshall delivers. That willingness to give extra effort led to Marshall’s selection as the Passavant Colleague of the Month.
“Scott is the go-to in our clinic,” his nominator wrote.
Marshall provides clinical care for musculoskeletal and movement dysfunctions. He earned a Master of Science degree in physical therapy from Washington University. He has been employed at Passavant since 1999.
“I really enjoy meeting and talking with people from all facets of life,” said Marshall. “My reward is helping our patients live more functional and productive lives. Plus, I’m fortunate that I have an amazing team. It feels like family.”
Marshall and his wife, Mirtie, live in Jacksonville and have three daughters: Clare, Meaghan and Brooklyn. In his free time, Marshall likes to run, cycle and hike. He also enjoys playing music (guitar, bass and a little singing) at his church.
The Colleague of the Month at Passavant receives eight hours off with pay, a special plaque and pin, a close parking space for one month in the physicians’ parking garage and a decorated cake.
